The engineers decided to use single row groove ball bearings (6005-2RS). one of the most commonly used bearings.
These bearings are perfect if you working with radial force. In this case that's the chisel.
There are two bearings for the main shaft. The one at the right end is clamped.

Seal: 2RS (rubber seal)The 2RS seal type trailing seal is a rubber-coated steel plate with a rubber tab that fits in a groove on the inner ring of the bearing. This tab causes friction and reduces the speed by 30% compared to an open bearing.
The operating temperature is between -30 °C and +110 °C. These bearings are preferred for applications involving a moderate contamination or for an "splash sealed" function.
there is no maintenance required with this 2RS seal!!
